About Us
Reliance Recovery NZ is proud to be Dunedin’s first dedicated liquid waste dewatering and transfer facility, providing innovative and sustainable solutions for managing complex waste streams. Born from a commitment to protect our environment and reduce landfill reliance, we take everything from sump and mud tank waste to black oil, bilge waste, cooking oil and coolant.
Our facility is designed around sustainability from the ground up and separates waste responsibly, recovering water for reuse and stabilising solids into safe, reusable materials. By partnering with local businesses and communities, we are not only keeping harmful contaminants out of the ground but also supporting a circular economy where waste becomes a resource.
Powered by solar energy and guided by a mission to minimise carbon emissions, Reliance Recovery NZ is changing how Dunedin handles liquid waste. Every load we separate is one less burden on our landfills and one more step toward a cleaner, more sustainable future for our region. By separating and reusing waste locally, we reduce reliance on landfill, lower carbon emissions, and create a circular flow of resources that benefit both businesses and our wider community.
