Black Oil Recovery

At Reliance Recovery NZ, we manage black oil safely and sustainably. On arrival, black oil is stored in large tanks within secure, concrete-bundled areas. The oil is allowed to settle, separating naturally from any water content. That water is drained, filtered through our on-site clarifiers, and recycled for use in our business day to day operations.

The remaining oil is then repurposed for specialist refining , where it is then reprocessed into reusable fuel. This ensures that even heavily contaminated black oil is responsibly managed and given a second life, reducing waste and supporting global resource recovery.
